seeders on torrents!?

ok heres the question... me & my mate are downloading the same file using the same header from the same site using the same service provider and using the same model modem and connection speed! he has 659 seeders and 4567 peers and his file will be finished about now! i on the otherhand can see the same number of peers & seeders but i am only receiving from the peers and no seeders...i havent had this problem before and more seeders are being added to the file but i am not getting anything from any of them... Any ideas ? p.s: only those who really know should answer please

Make sure that your torrent app is not blocked by a firewall, as this would stop any connections being made from it.
Also, make sure that the torrent app has not got its upload limit as unlimited, as this could slow down downloads.
